SUMMER @ BORACAY
Philippines' most visited tourists destination, "BORACAY BEACH". The beautiful white sand, clean environment and fresh water plus the beautiful snorkling area wherein you will see the beautiful corals and colorful fish (like nemo). It's nice to visit Crystal cove and experience lunch there with fresh sea foods like shrimp, squid and different fish.
There are a lot of activities there during day and night. They have island hopping, banana boat, flying fish, beach volleyball and other. During night there are restaurants offering eat all you can, bar hopping, disco, videoke bar and others.
How to get there?
Manila to Caticlan - 35-50 minutes via airplane (Cebu Pacific, SeaAir, Air Philippines)
Caticlan to Boracay Pier - 10 minutes via boat
Boracay to Kikko's Beach Resort - 20 minutes via multi-cab
Affordable restaurant
Andoks lechon

I have been to Boracay twice. The most recent one was last New Year's Eve. The place was so crowded with tourists, I could hardly breathed. My recommendation for tourists that wants a less crowded beach with similar amenities ( except night clubs) is the unspoiled beaches of Marinduque. Besides the beaches, there are cascading waterfalls, mountains( Mt Malindig) to climb, hot and sulfur springs as well as caves to explore. The cuisine in Marinduque is excellent and very cheap. Shopping for native handicrafts is a must since it is very reasonable compared to Manila.
Easter time the sleepy town of Boac becomes a worldwide tourist destination. So if you do not want crowds avoid Easter week, but then you will miss the pageantry and religious revelry of the Moriones Festival. It's your choice!
